WineWise is run by

Åsa W Karlsson who is ​a trained sommelier by profession. In addition she holds the WSET Diploma, vocational studies plus writing courses at Poppius journalist school in Stockholm. Åsa is a Master of Wine candidate since 2010.

WineWise helps to educate persons in sommellerie skills for the restaurant trade together with the Restaurant Academy in Stockholm and Gustibus Wine & Spirit Academy in Malmö.

WineWise also educates, together with Enjoy Wine & Spirits, the interested general public. The next course is scheduled for October 2011, in Stockholm, on Intermediate level.

WineWise also do tastings for companies, private events or private courses.

​

Last, but not least, WineWise regurlarly writes about wine in several magazines on the swedish market. Restauranger & Storkök, Lantliv Mat & Vin and Metro.
